Bill Moore - Clayability

Have you ever wanted to have a go on a potter's wheel? Well now you can - as well as learning how to hand-build in clay. Anyone can do it!

Amongst other things, Clayability offers pottery courses from beginners to intermediate, one to one tuition, family sessions and also parties for both children and adults.

Clayability brings you entertainment, creativity and learning with expert advice and satisfying results.

A Pottery Party!
For children and adultsWe offer pottery parties for children aged 7+ and adults - a unique way of celebrating that special occasion (Birthdays, Hen Parties)

Children's Option 1 £12 per person
Making two items: a tile / picture frame and animal

Children's Option 2 £16.50 per person
Making three items: have a go on the potters wheel, a tile / picture frame and animal


Adult Option 1 - £22 per person
Making four items: have a go on the potters wheel, a face, a tile / picture frame and animal

The parties run between 1.5 to 3 hoursapproximately, depending on which option you choose, and can start either in the morning 10am to 12.30pm or the afternoon 2pm to 4.30pm but we are very flexible, it just depends on availability.We take a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 12 people.

 

 

 





The Walled Garden also has a highly recommended cafe and restaurant which is an idea place to have lunch before or after a pottery event.

A unique family gift

Relax together and have a go on the potter's wheel!

Your family can make six pots on the potter's wheel in a one-hour session. With expert tuition from potter Bill Moore you'll all be able to create pottery that will last a lifetime. The pots will be marked with your names and the date underneath, then fired and glazed. Your family's pots will be ready to collect in approx. 3 weeks.

A family session costs - £45 (including all materials)

Educational Workshops
Another service provided by Bill Moore is the running of educational workshops in schools. Bill has experience teaching in a number of schools and educational environments, from Year 2 right through to Sixth Form

Corporate Events
We are very experienced in holding corporate events and team building pottery sessions, also offering day pottery taster courses and have worked with many companies and businesses; John Lewis, Lloyds TSB, Microsoft, Price Waterhouse, Bevan's Solicitors, Environmental Agency, B skyb.
